Jamie’s Tour Blog #4

The UK tour is over, what a vibe…

I thought i would fill you in on a few more highlights I have since remembered…

This one was a first!!!

At our Wembley show a young chap was invited up on stage to propose to his girlfriend…

I reckon it took a lot of nerves to do that in front of thousands of people, Fair play to ya…

It was a very lovely moment,

Beautiful vibes.

At the very same show we had to stop playing for 15 mins while the venue medics treated a man who possibly had a heart attack, This was scary.

It turns out the chap had three jumpers on and over heated…Mmmmmmm!!!

About 5 shows into the tour we threw ‘Step on my old size nines’ into the set..

I just love this song .

I love the imagery of Kelly’s lyrics.

Amazing…

It’s time to give Mr Tony Kirkham some props for playing the Harmonic & Piano at the same time in that track,What a guy…

Those who came to a show would of got a treat in the form of our musical guest Gavin Fitzjohn joining us for a number of songs.

He is an exceptional musicien and it was a joy to play with him.

Every night Kelly and Gavin would do a beautiful version of ‘Boy on a Bike’ from the latest album.

The album doesn’t actually have a horn part on the track so that made the live rendition even more special…

I must admit it was always a treat to sit at the drums and watch the boys play this song every night.

For a short moment Iam also a member of the audience and loving it just like you are…

Chris Moyles and his radio partner Dom jamming Cest Le Vie during soundcheck in Dublin was hilarious…

Later that night I saw a man dressed up as Robocop in the audience…

Very brilliant…

That’s all for now folks.

I am glad you have been enjoying these blogs as much as have writing them…

We are much looking forward to getting back out there and seeing your faces.

VIBES
